1. Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to all work undertaken by Driveways Plus Illawarra (“we”, “our”, “us”) for the client (“you”, “your”) unless otherwise agreed in writing. By accepting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Scope of Work

All work will be completed as detailed in the final written quote. Variations or additional work requested may result in adjusted pricing and scheduling.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary if site conditions differ from those initially described or inspected.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined in your quote. In general, we may require:

A deposit before commencing work

Progress payments for larger jobs

Final balance upon completion

Failure to make payment may result in suspension of work or legal action to recover owed amounts.

5. Access and Site Requirements

You agree to provide clear access to the worksite and ensure the area is ready for concreting. This includes removing obstacles and ensuring site safety. Delays caused by access issues may incur additional charges.

6. Weather and Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by weather, material shortages, or other factors beyond our control. We will notify you of any necessary rescheduling.

7. Workmanship and Materials

All work is carried out using industry-standard practices. While we take care to minimise surface variation, minor cracking, colour variation, or surface texture differences can naturally occur in concrete and are not considered defects.

8. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship and offer warranties on structural concrete elements as per industry standards. Cosmetic imperfections, surface wear, and external damage (e.g. from oil, equipment, or vehicles) are not covered.

9. Liability

Driveways Plus Illawarra is not liable for damage caused by:

Ground movement or soil instability

Third-party trades or equipment

Unapproved site changes after work has commenced

10. Cancellation

If you cancel after work has been scheduled or materials ordered, you may be charged for expenses incurred and/or a cancellation fee.
